EUDR due diligence statements for importers
The EU Deforestation Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2025/2650) requires operators and traders to show that certain commodities are deforestation-free and legally produced before placing them on the EU market.
Dates
| Date | Who |
|---|---|

| 30 June 2027 | Micro and small operators |
What is covered
Cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya and wood, and products made from them listed in Annex I: furniture, paper and cardboard, printed matter, charcoal, many rubber goods and some leather products. The Commission has proposed removing certain leather products from the list, so we check the current Annex before each filing.
What we do
- Screening — match your catalogue's tariff codes against Annex I.
- Supplier data — collect geolocation and legality information from suppliers, with questionnaires in Chinese and English.
- Statements — file due diligence statements in the EU Information System, or the simplified declaration available to micro and small operators.
- Records — keep the evidence for each statement.
