EU AI Act high-risk readiness
The Digital Omnibus on AI (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744) moved the high-risk deadlines but did not remove the obligations:
| Date | What applies |
|---|---|
| 2 December 2027 | Stand-alone high-risk systems in Annex III: hiring and worker management, credit scoring, education, access to essential services and similar uses |
| 2 August 2028 | High-risk AI embedded in regulated products under Annex I |
Transparency duties under Article 50 are not delayed.
What we deliver
- AI inventory — every AI system you build, buy or use, with its purpose and owner.
- Classification — whether each system is high-risk, and whether you act as provider or deployer.
- Gap plan — risk management, data governance, technical documentation, logging, human oversight, accuracy and robustness, measured against what you have today.
- Documentation — templates and working drafts for the technical file and deployer procedures.
- Roadmap — what to fix, in what order, before the applicable date.
This is technical and governance work by an AI engineer. It is not a legal opinion; where you need one, we work alongside your lawyers.
