Deployer (AI Act)

The person or company using an AI system under their own authority — e.g., the website owner whose chatbot talks to visitors. Article 50's disclosure duties mostly land on deployers: you, not your chatbot vendor.

If your site runs the bot, you're the deployer. The vendor is the 'provider'. Both have duties, but the visitor-facing disclosure is yours.
