Can I put ChatGPT (or any custom GPT) on my website in the EU?
Yes — but from 2 August 2026 you must tell visitors they're interacting with AI, clearly and at first contact. There's no ban on embedded AI assistants; there's a transparency duty on whoever deploys them.
Allowed, with a label
Nothing in the AI Act stops you embedding a custom GPT, a Botpress agent, or a homegrown LLM assistant on your site. The law regulates honesty about it, not existence of it.
